PETER DIPAOLO
Peter DiPaolo is an American Board Certified and State Licensed Prosthetist and Orthotist. He received his Bachelors degree in Biomechanics from the University of Connecticut in 1996. He then went on to his post-graduate studies at the Newington Certificate Program in Connecticut for Orthotics and Prosthetics.
Peter did his Orthotics Residency at the Connecticut Children’s Hospital where he began his work in Pediatrics. For over 15 years, Peter has practiced in the Human Orthotics & Prosthetics field building his expertise in Upper and Lower Limb Prosthetics evolving his skills using the latest technologies. He also is a specialist in lower extremity orthotics for children and adults with neuromuscular disabilities and injuries. In the Summer of 2015, Peter was presented with the opportunity to make a prosthesis for a Great Dane Puppy, Rosie.
Peter utilized his knowledge in Human O&P to transition over to Veterinary O&P which helped to make Rosie a Nationally recognized story. The success with Rosie's prosthesis inspired Peter to begin his work with animals and create the company, Petsthetics, LLC.
